Dana Forsberg

Dana Forsberg has 16 years of coaching and instruction experience. Forsberg has coached professionally and collegiately, as well as the high school and youth levels. Nine years of his coaching career was spent as the Head Coach of the Worcester Academy Hilltoppers in Massachusetts. Under Forsberg the Hilltoppers reached the post season eight times, appeared in the Class A New England Prep School Championship five times, winning two New England Championships. Forsberg also spent three summers coaching a 16U travel program that played at some of the most elite tournaments in the country.

Dana Forsberg is a graduate University of Vermont where he was a four year starter. During his career at UVM Forsberg was an offensive power breaking multiple records including single season and career home runs. In 1997 and 1998 Forsberg was named to the All America East First team. In the summer of 1996 was named the MVP of the NECBL, and in 1997 was chosen to the All New England University Team. After college Forsberg signed with the Atlantic League where he played three seasons. From the Atlantic League Forsberg became a player coach and eventually the manager of the Cook County Cheetahs in the Frontier League . In 2003 Forsberg took a front office job with the Sarasota Red Sox. His most recent coaching stint was Asst. Varsity coach at Episcopal Academy.

Dana is a graduate of Worcester Academy where he was a three sport athlete earning 11 Varsity Letters
